USA’s President Trump has announced a 30-day travel restriction between Europe and the US, excluding the UK. These orders apply to all flights departing for the US after 11:59 p.m. TONIGHT. Under the directive, foreign nationals with 14-day prior travel within any of the 26 Schengen-area countries will not be eligible to enter the US. If you have been been in the UK for longer than 14 days before your planned visit to the US, you’re good to go.
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) is against all but essential travel to the Madrid and La Rioja, and the municipalities of La Bastida and Vitor (Basque Country) and Miranda de Ebro (Castilla y León).
The administration in the north of Cyprus has introduced a temporary ban on British nationals entering the north of Cyprus from 12 March.
There are no travel restrictions to Portugal due to coronavirus, and Brits will not need to self-quarantine if returning from a holiday.
